Joy was born and raised in Klamath Falls and is a Mazama High School graduate. She received a B.S. in Business Management with an emphasis in accounting in 2015 from the Oregon Institute of Technology and was honored as the top accounting student of her class by the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants.

She is a Licensed Tax Preparer and is currently working towards her CPA. She and her husband, Ian, have three dogs.  She has been with Isler Group, LLC since 2014.  Her hobbies include scrapbooking, photography, tennis, hiking, and traveling.
